Gregory’s Foods - the history
The year was 1980 when Gregory’s Foods was established. Having been a yeast sales person for several years, Greg Helland saw a need for a local, Minneapolis based frozen dough and mix manufacturer. Instilled from the beginning, Greg listened to the needs of his customers asking for “scratch quality” frozen doughs and mixes. This tradition is still a key component to our business today. In late 2004, the Brechet & Richter product line was added. A bakery company known for their outstanding quality with over 90 years in the business. Gregory’s now has the added capability to produce wet bases, fillings, and icings.

Instead of looking for production shortcuts, making dough leaner or using cheaper ingredients, we concentrate on putting “richer” and “fresher” into our products. We prepare our wholesome frozen dough and mixes with special care using proven recipes, the finest ingredients, and experienced craftsmanship..... so your customers get the finest eating quality products. We call this our “Scratch Made Quality” used in all of our product lines. Our orders are filled on a quality, “made-to-order” basis to ensure the freshest possible product for you and your customers.
